I was doing an upgrade of our database, and suddenly we lost connectivity with the db and I got an error saying oRA-01034 ORACLE not started, and it definelty was.
I have no physical backup... This is on our todo list...
Is there a way to recover the database? I have tried a few suggestions but none seem to completely work for me...
I have tried recovering from date, and now get this error:
ORA-01547: warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below:
ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent
oRA-01110: data file 1: 'C:ORACLEORA806DATABASESYS1ORCL.ORA'
It was trying to find an archived log before this that it could not find (and neither could I manually)
What can I do?
