Hi all:
I am attemting to install oracle 9.2.0.1 in a redhat 7.2 and i recive this error:
Error in invoking target ioracle of makefile
/usr/oracle/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk
I execute this for relink the oracle executables:
$> relink all
and I recive these errors:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ljox9
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [[/usr/oracle/rdbms/lib/oracle]] Error 1
how can I solve this problem???
Specifications:
Oracle 9.2.0.1.0
Red Hat 7.2
Kernel 2.4.7-10
gcc_2.96-98
binutils-2.11.90.0.8-9

hi deepa, thanks for your reply. I increase the swap space adding a swap file and i solve the error of 'relink' command. But the error in the instalation don't disapear:
Error in invoking target ioracle of makefile
/usr/oracle/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk
had you got the same problem??? or do you know how can I solve this???
