I have a stored procedure which is inserting into three different tables. I am testing to see if the rollback happens properly. I tried to exclusively lock the third table and executed the stored procedure. It was kept on running until I deliberately killed the session in which I had locked the third table. Could any one help me to other ways to test rollback?

Well that doesn't test rollback, that tests locking.
Run the procedure, rollback, check data hasn't been inserted. Why would you need to do anything else?

Do you actually think that if their was a problem with rollback in oracle that the yelling from customers would be heard across the entire world.
